Chyrele "Butch" Shafer Chyrele Lynn Lee Shafer, 77, born August 13, 1943, returned home to our Heavenly Father on February 2, 2021. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. The rock to her family. Mom loved the outdoors. Especially camping and fishing in Panguitch Utah. She loved to cook and spend time with her family. You could show up any day of the week for “Chyrele’s surprise”. She loved Mexican food and fast cars. Chyrele is preceded in death by her daughters, Brenda Olsen and Bobie Tupou; son, Ernie Shafer; brothers, Art and Lawrence Lee; great-granddaughter, Kelsie Plescia; and her best friend, Lynne Kennedy. She is survived by her husband Curt Cushing; sons, John and Terry Shafer; 19 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and many friends. An open house will be held for a Celebration of Life on Saturday, February 6th from 5:00- 8:00 p.m. at 1643 West 350 North, West Point, Utah 84015. Funeral Home: Salt Lake Valley Mortuary
