Reverend Lonnie W. Vincent, 82, of Lambert’s Run Community passed away at his residence on May 12, 2011 at 11:58 am following an extended illness. He was born on August 3, 1928 in Monongah, a son of the late Lonnie Wayne Vincent Sr. and Blanche Elizabeth Watson Vincent, and his wife, Dorothy Jean Shelhammer Vincent who died July 15, 1997. Mr. Vincent is survived by two daughters, Donna Matthews and husband Tom (TJ), and Twila “Nikki” Vincent, all of Lambert’s Run; one granddaughter, Laryssa Pode and husband Shane of Michigan; two great grandchildren, Brooklyn Sky Pode and Ryan Wesley Pode; one brother, George C. Vincent and wife Jeanene; and one sister in-law, Georgia Sandy. In addition to his parents and wife, Rev. Lonnie was preceded in death by his sister, Colleen Musgrave; two infant sisters and one infant brother. Rev. Lonnie was a sign painter and a retired minister from Grove Church in Doddridge County. Friends will be received at Harmer Funeral Home from 2-4pm and 6-8pm, Sunday, May 15, 2011. A Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, May 16, 2011 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Clyde Murphy officiating. Interment will follow at Shinnston Masonic Cemetery. A service of the Harmer Funeral Home, Shinnston. Leave Condolence
