<p>Anita L. Davis, died on Monday, January 25, 2021.She was 91.</p> <p><br /> Anita graduated from William Jennings Bryant High School in New York and went on to Queens College, where she majored in Education. She met the love of life, Donald, at the Bridge Club at Queens College.</p> <p>They were married for 44 years until his untimely passing on September 29, 1997.</p> <p><br /> Everyone who met Anita loved her. She was an eternal optimist, yet always rooted in reality. She taught English as a Second Language for many years through several Adult School programs in the LA Unified School District. She inspired several of her students to go on to teach ESL themselves.</p> <p><br /> Anita and Donald retired in 1992. Anita discovered an Improvisation class through the Emeritus College at Santa Monica College. This began her 20 years of involvement with various Senior Improv groups based in Santa Monica.</p> <p>Anita also found that she had a talent for writing limericks and she wrote one for each of the friends she made in her Improv groups.</p> <p><br /> Anita grew up speaking Yiddish with her family. She found a Yiddish class for senior citizens at Temple Menorah in Redondo Beach and enjoyed sharing her love of the language with like-minded people her own age.&nbsp; But most of all, she loved her family, her children, Joel and Sally, and her grandchildren, Alex and Erin, who will always cherish her boundless love, optimism and enthusiasm for life.&nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Anita L. Davis, died on Monday, January 25, 2021.She was 91.


Anita graduated from William Jennings Bryant High School in New York and went on to Queens College, where she majored in Education. She met the love of life, Donald, at the Bridge Club at Queens College.

They were married for 44 years until his untimely passing on September 29, 1997.
