Mark Roger Pohl Obituary

Pohl, Mark Age 65 of Minneapolis. Survived by brother Alan Pohl; sister Marilyn Eshelman; sister-in-law Noreen Pohl; nieces Sara (Ben), Samantha, Christie, Gina, LaRae & Deidra. Visitation Saturday, January 30th from 1:00 pm-3:00 pm at MUELLER MEMORIAL, 835 Johnson Parkway, St. Paul. Mass of Christian Burial Monday, February 1st at 10:30 am at TRANSFIGURATION CATHOLIC CHURCH, 6133-15th Street North, Oakdale (doors open at 10:00 for seating). Mark was a great brother, uncle and friend. Uncle Mark was the most compassionate, loving and kind soul. He always had the biggest smile on his face, a smile that was incredibly infectious, whenever he was around it was impossible to not be smiling along with him. Since Mark didn’t get married or have children of his own, he spoiled us as if we were his daughters. He loved us unconditionally and for that we are forever grateful. One memory we will never forget is how every time he came over to our house, he would bring a cub bag packed to the brim of the best snacks and candy which always included Bazooka Bubble Gum, Charleston Chews, and Sno-Caps. He had a never-ending knowledge of anything related to movies and television. Any question you threw at him he could answer without hesitation. You could always guarantee when you heard Uncle Mark and Dad on the phone the conversation would revolve around those topics and especially anything WWE related. In the simplest way we couldn’t have been blessed with a better uncle. No matter how much time will pass we’ll miss you every day and forever you will stay in our hearts. Love, Samantha and Sara.
