<p>Robert Ceasar Gazzola Jr., 60 years old, of New Rochelle, NY died January 23, 2021 at Westchester Medical Center after succumbing to injuries sustained from a fall.</p> <p>Robert (Bobby) was born in the Bronx and was the son of Robert C. Gazzola Sr. and Cecelia Monsolino Gazzola.</p> <p>Robert was an employee of the New York City Department of Sanitation since 1995.&nbsp; He was promoted to Supervisor in 1999 and General Superintendent in 2006.&nbsp; He was well respected and loved by his coworkers.</p> <p>He was an avid sports fan, his favorite teams being the NY Giants, NY Yankees and NY Rangers.&nbsp; As a younger adult he played hockey and football regularly.</p> <p>He is preceded in death by his father Robert, his mother Cecelia, and his nephew Michael. He is survived by his long time partner Kerry Enright, his sisters and brothers-in-law, Karen and Joe Russo; Cindy and Mike Lacey; Francine and Moe Aquino; Judy and Casey Fegel; and 7 nieces and nephews.</p> <p>He was loved by many, many friends.&nbsp; He will be greatly missed.</p> <p>Reposing at the Ralph Giordano Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Robert at St Benedict&rsquo;s Church on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow St Raymond&rsquo;s Cemetery.</p> <p>Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Ralph Giordano Funeral Home.</p> <p>To share a memory, or leave an online condolence, please visit www.Giordano funeral home.com</p> <p>Due to the continued public health mandates and concerns, please know that there is an occupancy limitation on the amount of guests allowed in the funeral home and church at one time. Robert Ceasar Gazzola Jr., 60 years old, of New Rochelle, NY died January 23, 2021 at Westchester Medical Center after succumbing to injuries sustained from a fall.

Robert (Bobby) was born in the Bronx and was the son of Robert C. Gazzola Sr. and Cecelia Monsolino Gazzola.

Robert was an employee of the New York City Department of Sanitation since 1995.  He was promoted to Supervisor in 1999 and General Superintendent in 2006.  He was well respected and loved by his coworkers.
