Serafina Torres Obituary

Torres, Serafina
Our beloved and special aunt was embraced by the Lord and taken to his heavenly home on Wednesday, January 20, 2021, age 93.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Carlos Torres; sisters: Margaret, Josephine, Aurelia, Blazita and Cruzita; brothers: Anastacio (Tacho); Felix Jr, Camillo. She is survived by her closest nieces, Jennifer, Gloria, Theresa, Margie, Vicky, Helen, and Esther, who adored her and always attended to her needs. She was like a second mother to them. She also had many nieces and nephews who were more like her children and grandchildren.

She was devoted to the Blessed Mother and prayed the rosary every day. She was a member of the Sacred Heart League, People’s Eucharist League and the Blue Army until she could no longer attend.

Our aunt was such a beautiful, caring, and kindhearted person who touched the lives of everyone she knew. Forever in our hearts Auntie Fina, rest in peace.

A Rosary will be recited Friday, January 29, 2021, 5:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, 4021 Lomas Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM.
