<p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Norman Lee DeForrest age 82, passed away on January 20, 2021 at Health Center North West in Kalispell, Montana.</p> <p>&nbsp;Norman was was born on February 20, 1938 to Manuel and Georgia (Gorich) Silva in Oakland, California. After graduating high school Norman joined the Cal State University in Hayward, California where he earned his Master&rsquo;s Degree in Art History.</p> <p>Norman spent time serving his Country from 1956 to 1960 in the Supply Division of the United States Air Force. He also worked for the United States Parcel Service where he later retired from.</p> <p>Norman was an active member of St. Matthew&rsquo;s Church. He was the treasurer for St. Matthew&rsquo;s &ldquo;Knights Of Columbus&rdquo; and he also sang with the choir. He also for a time sang with&nbsp; &ldquo;Valley Voices Choir.&rdquo; He loved attending and hosting church social functions.</p> <p>&nbsp;&nbsp;Aside from his devoted interest in his church, he also loved to do little hobbies like landscaping and Art. He was a talented Artist that painted, sketched and would even mold ceramics.</p> <p>&nbsp;Norman is survived by his Sisters; Elsene King (California) and Shirley Nalty (Arizona) and four Nephews and their families. He will be forever missed.</p> <p>The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to either St. Matthew&rsquo;s Catholic Church or The Veteran&rsquo;s Food Pantry.</p> <p>Due to the current pandemic no services are planned at this time.&nbsp; Friends are encouraged to visit our website at www.buffalohillfh.com to leave notes of condolences for the family. Norman Lee DeForrest age 82, passed away on January 20, 2021 at Health Center North West in Kalispell, Montana.
