She was born on October 4, 1949 in Jackson, MS to Kenneth and Gussie Williams Smith. Brenda enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, and sitting on the front porch.</p> <p>In addition to her parents, Brenda is preceded in death by her first husband, Douglas Horton; second husband, Alan Greenwaldt; and sister, Anna Carol Tucker.
