<p>Born December 25, 1936 in Casitas Pass, California to Henry &amp; Lora Musick. In 1942 the family</p> <p>moved to Powell Butte where Louise attended Powell Butte Grade School and Redmond Union</p> <p>High School, graduating in 1954. She then attended Central Oregon Community College in</p> <p>Bend, Oregon and in 1955 graduated as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She worked at Pioneer</p> <p>Memorial Hospital for 42 years as a nurse and later as the head of the purchasing department.</p> <p>Louise was a member of the Lady Elks, Eagles and was very active for many years in the</p> <p>American Legion Auxiliary. She was the state president of the American Legion Auxiliary in</p> <p>2004-2005, volunteered at American Red Cross, Prineville Senior Center and belonged to the</p> <p>Crook County Historical Society. Louise enjoyed camping and being outdoors and loved</p> <p>spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband Sid Carter, sister Carol Beeman</p> <p>of Yuma, Arizona, Son Jack (Diane) Hodnett of Drewsey, Oregon, Son Edward (Tina) Hodnett</p> <p>of Prineville, son Thomas of Prineville and son Ray (Cindy) Carter of Colorado Springs,</p> <p>Colorado. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one</p> <p>great-great-grandson and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her</p> <p>parents Henry and Lora, Brother Edward, Sisters Ruth Collins and Dorothy Hendrix.
