Mr. Vander " Van Man " Holliday, Jr. Wrens, Georgia Obituary

Mr. Vander " Van Man " Holliday, Jr.

Mr. Vander Holliday, Jr. was born in Richmond County, GA on March 27, 1968 to Mary Brown and the late Vander Holliday, Sr. On January 21, 2021, the Lord called home our loved-one, but his memory will be cherished forever. Vander, Jr. was a member of the Wrens Chapel AME Church in Wrens, GA for many years. He received his education in the Jefferson County School System of Georgia, and graduated with the Wrens High School Class of 1989. “Van Man” as Vander, Jr. was often called by family members and friends worked for the former Glit/Microtron plant of Wrens, GA for 25 years. Before his untimely passing, he was currently employed with the State of Georgia-Jefferson County Correctional Institution as an Officer. During his spare time, Vander, Jr. had two hobbies that he truly loved. You would always find him doing one or the other; he was an avid bike rider with Tru-IKONZ, and he was a dedicated coach for the Jefferson County Youth Department.
