Rena B. Mena
Rena B. Mena was born in Brooklyn, NY, the youngest daughter of William and Alice Bloom. She is survived by her sons, Michael and James; grandchildren, James, Chelsey and Simone, in addition to her brother, Arthur and numerous family members domestically and internationally. She was a graduate of Bay Ridge H.S., the Kings County School of Nursing and St. Francis College (Brooklyn). She spent her entire professional career as a registered nurse/nursing supervisor at Kings County Hospital. She served as a trustee for the New York State Nurses Association, and was active in many community groups and organizations. She enjoyed traveling, attending live music events, and was devoted to her friends and family. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua parish in South Ozone parish, and her faith played a central role in her life. She touched many lives, and she will be deeply missed.September 6, 1938 - January 21, 202109/06/193801/21/2021
