Andrew Payumo Vergara joined our Lord on January 20, 2021.  He was 60 years old, born on Nov. 30, 1960.  He is the son of the late Honorio Vergara and Aurora Payumo.  Andrew loved to cook for people and was able to express that passion as a sushi chef at Kimono Japanese Restaurant, owned by his dear friend Jae Park. Always optimistic and positive, he cared deeply for his family and others, giving with an open and humble heart.  He was strong in his spiritual beliefs and will be fondly remembered as a warm and outgoing man who loved life.

Andrew is survived by his wife, Karen Vergara; brothers, Franco and Arthur Vergara; sister, Lourdes Vergara Tongol; his children in London and the Philippines; and a host of uncles and aunties, nieces and nephews and cousins.

A funeral mass will be held at a later date.
