MARK S. MENEGAUX Mark S. Menegaux, 72, a resident of the Beaverton community died Thursday morning, January 21, 2021 at Gloria’s Adult Foster Care Home in Beaverton. MARK STEVEN MENEGAUX was born October 21, 1948 in San Mateo, California, the son of the late Melvin H. Menegaux, Sr. and Lucinda (Lucy) Menegaux. At the age of nine years old, he moved with his family to South San Francisco, where he graduated from South City High School Class of 1967. He was a member of the HAM Radio Club in South San Francisco as well as a history buff of South San Francisco. Mark was a kind person in his neighborhood and community, helping the “little old ladies” by bringing up their garbage cans and collecting the mail for neighbors who went out of town. He was a devoted son to his mom, Lucy, and family meant a great deal to him. Mark moved to Oregon in 2015 to be near his niece, Heather, and family. Among his special interests, Mark enjoyed history movies of World War II, was a storyteller and was very generous with others. He also enjoyed bowling and participated on leagues in South San Francisco when he was young. He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin H. Menegaux, Sr. and Lucinda (Lucy) Menegaux, and his brother, Melvin Henry Menegaux, Jr. in December of 1999. Survivors include his niece, Heather Menegaux Bartos, of Beaverton, Oregon, and Victor Menegaux, nephew, of Kamas, Utah.
