<p>Mr. Dillon &ldquo;Ray&rdquo; Lowe, 76, went home to be with his Lord and Savior unexpectedly Tuesday, January 19, 2021.&nbsp; He was born December 7, 1944 in Alleghany County to the late D.C. Lowe and Alma Johnson Lowe.&nbsp; Ray was first and foremost, a Christian.&nbsp; He was also a hardworking man; loving family man, who adored his children and grandchildren; and a sports fanatic, specifically the UNC Tarheels, Carolina Panthers, and Cincinnati Reds.&nbsp;</p> <p>In addition to his parents, Ray is preceded in death by his sister, Vicky Lewis and brother, James Lowe.&nbsp; He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Judy Lowe; son, Michael Ray Lowe (Angela); daughter, Tammy Renee Lowe; two stepsons, James Milam III and Chad Milam; stepdaughter, Jennifer Milam; five grandchildren: Austin, Mikayla, Branden, Caden, and James; and three sisters: Shirley Pope, Wanda Pellerin, and Linda Cruz.</p> <p>A graveside service will be conducted 10:00 AM Friday at Forsyth Memorial Park with Pastor Bruce Updyke officiating.&nbsp; Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.</p>

Mr. Dillon “Ray” Lowe, 76, went home to be with his Lord and Savior unexpectedly Tuesday, January 19, 2021.  He was born December 7, 1944 in Alleghany County to the late D.C. Lowe and Alma Johnson Lowe.  Ray was first and foremost, a Christian.  He was also a hardworking man; loving family man, who adored his children and grandchildren; and a sports fanatic, specifically the UNC Tarheels, Carolina Panthers, and Cincinnati Reds.
