Donald Ray Walker age 74, of Lynchburg, TN, passed from this life on January 19, 2021, while at St. Thomas West in Nashville. Those who had the honor of knowing him, knew how much he loved being outdoors. He had a love for horseback riding, fishing, hunting and riding his 4-wheeler. Mr. Walker served many years in the retail grocery business as a butcher for Woodard’s Grocery in Lynchburg and Bi-Lo Food Stores. He served in the National Guard and was a member of the Liberty Hill Church of Christ. He leaves to cherish his memories and mourn his passing, his wife of 53 years, Mary Anna Walker; mother, Bernice Sue Tripp Walker; sisters, Rita (Dale) Eslick of Lynchburg, Barbara (Larry) Parks of Lewisburg; brothers, Kenneth (Martha) Walker of Tullahoma, Dale (Nancy) Walker of Fayetteville, Joey Walker of Carolton, TX, and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Walker. Visitation will be held on Friday January 22, 2021 from 1-2:00 p.m. A graveside service will follow at Limbaugh Cemetery on Vernon Ridge Road in Belvidere, TN. John Anderson will officiate. Pallbearers will be served by Randy Swanson, Darryl Burton, Chris Burton, Dylan Latham, Jason Bradley, Peanut Ashley, David Dunlap.
