Maudyna Joan White

<p><strong>Maudyna Joan White</strong>, joined her husband Fred White in Eternity on Jan 14th, 2021.&nbsp; Born to Maude and Dave Campbell on Dec 18, 1926.&nbsp; Maudyna was the last surviving of 13 brothers and sisters.&nbsp; Fred and Maudyna were married on April 2, 1944.&nbsp; Fred passed 11 years ago.&nbsp; Maudyna was a seamstress since high School and continued sewing for friends, neighbors, and for the joy it, throughout her life.&nbsp; Maudyna especially enjoyed quilting and made many beautiful pieces for friends, family and for donation to the community.&nbsp;&nbsp; Card playing with friends and in playing clubs was another pastime Maudyna enjoyed, along with fishing and gardening throughout her long life.&nbsp; She is survived by one son, Kenneth White, married to Donna, and one Daughter, Janice, married to John Turner.&nbsp;&nbsp; Maudyna&rsquo;s legacy also includes 4 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, to be born in April 2021, and many nieces and nephews.&nbsp; She was preceded in death by 13 siblings and a tremendous number of cherished friends and extended family.</p> <p>There will be an 11:00am viewing and 12:00 Graveside Service at Haven of Rest Funeral Home in Gig Harbor, on January 20th, 2021.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p> <hr /> <p><strong>Donations to Fransiscan Hospice are encouraged for those who would like to make a gift in remembrance.</strong></p> <hr /> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Such a sweet lady with a cool sense of humor and graciousness. I will think of her every time I make her angel food cake with lemon topping and when I use the homemade glass case she made out of scrap material. Hope you are catching the big one!!
