Muriel Cecile Philips

Muriel Cecile Philips, 86 years of age, died Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at her daughter’s home in Nashua, NH., where she was lovingly cared for and prepared for her next journey. She was born July 25, 1934 in Nashua, NH., the daughter of Mathias Philip and Pheobe Morency.

She attended Lowell Technological Institute where she acquired a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics. She worked as a software engineer for Government contractors such as Raytheon, Mitre, and Sanders Associates.

She was an avid reader with a special interest in history. She enjoyed following current events and politics. She loved crocheting, knitting, hand crafting, tending to her flower garden, and feeding the hummingbirds. She most especially embraced spending time with her children which included trips to Hawaii, Disney, La Jolla, CA, and other week-end excursions. She strongly admired cats and always had a furry companion by her side.

Muriel is predeceased by her sisters Rachel and Terry Ouellette, and her brothers Leo, Andy, Gerard, and Lionel Ouellette.

She is survived by her sons Phillip Bouchard of Nashua, NH., Michael and wife Wendi Bouchard of Newton, MA., and her daughter Carol Bouchard of Nashua, NH.

SERVICES: A private graveside service at Edgewood Cemetery in Nashua, NH., will be held at the convenience of the family. The Davis Funeral Home, 1 Lock St., Nashua, NH., has been placed in charge of arrangements. (603) 883-3401 “ONE MEMORY LIGHTS ANOTHER.”
