Obituary

Albert Charles Hill, Sr. (A.C./Pops), 67, of Thomasville, passed away Monday, January 18, 2021, at High Point Medical Center.

Born in Cocke County, TN, he was a son of the late Carl Hill and the late Lola Williams Hill.

He was known to all that knew him as a Godly man.  He touched the hearts of many that knew and met him.  There are not words that would suffice to memorialize such a great man.  The simplicity of coming up with adjectives to describe him is difficult.  It will be difficult because he will be remembered in so many different ways.  First and foremost, he will be remembered as Pastor AC.  He shared the words and teachings of Jesus through many years of pastoring churches.  Even after retiring, he carried on spreading God’s words through his ministry.  Albert Hill will be remembered greatly for his service to our Lord.  However, he will also be remembered for being a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle.  Lastly, but never forgotten, he will be remembered for his humor and his beautiful voice.  Music is in his blood.  Albert was a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife Audrey Martin Hill of the home; son, William Hill (Sandy) of High Point; daughter, Anna Hall (Bobby) of Trinity; daughter-n-Law, Amber Hill; brother, Jarvis Hill of High Point; sisters, Ila Snow (Jim) of Thomasville, Diane Burrell of Virginia, Regina Smith of Thomasville; and eight grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Albert Charles Hill, Jr. and sister, Elaine Conard.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 6, 2021, at New Life Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael Mabe officiating.

Condolences may be expressed online at www.wrightfs.com.
