Kay Yvonne Hill
Kay Yvonne Hill, age 82 of Decherd, went to be with the Lord Monday, January 18, 2021. She was born October 8, 1938 in Tremont, Mississippi, to the late Eulus and Seretha Stone. Kay spent over 40 years as an educator in the roles of teacher, principal, and state evaluator. After retiring, Kay enjoyed spending time with family, reading, and playing cards with her dear friends in the Capitol Hill community. In addition to her parents, Kay was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Thomas Hill; her son, Michael Hill; and sister, Wilma Jo Stone. Kay is survived by her son, Marcus Hill; daughter, Mary (Steve) Swann; grandsons, Tyler Swann and Bryant (Emily) Swann; sister and dearest friend, Carolyn Stone; brother, Ted Stone; brother-in-law, Carter (Pat) Hill; and sister-in-law, Linda Baker. A private burial will be held at Winchester City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Kay be made to the Capitol Hill Church of Christ, 5678 AEDC Road, Estill Springs, TN 37330.
