Mrs. Charlene Rae Riggs, "Nana", age 78, of Livingston, passed away July 24, 2020, at her residence. She was born in Oakland, California on December 31st, 1941. Char is preceded in death by husband, Ira Raymond Riggs, Wayne R. Peterson, sister, Wendy Roberts and longtime sister-friend, Sharon Eddy. The week prior to death was spent with family, her greatest joy. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Nana enjoyed spending time with family and crafting in which she excelled. Char also loved spoiling her faithful companion Sonny Boy. She will be forever cherished and remembered by her family. Nana was a woman of faith with the Lord in her Heart. She saw the good in everything and everyone. Chars smile and laughter brought warmth to all who knew her. She is survived by three daughters, Jami and Dan Wilson, Dawn and Dave Hiller, Michele and John Futter; eight grandchildren, Cole Wilson, Anna Wilson, Danielle Hiller, Devan Rameriz, Brandt Meyers, Landen Little, Dalton Little and Kristin Futter; and five great-grandchildren, Callen, Mya, Sofia, Caysen and Reagan; one stepdaughter Clara and Patrick Morris. God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change. The courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.
