Sarantos "SID" Maniatis Obituary

Sarantos was a generous, kind, loving brother
and uncle, nephew, cousin, and friend who fell
asleep in the Lord on January 14, 2021. He
was born in Denver, Colorado on April 2, 1966
to George and Evangelia Maniatis of blessed
memory.
He is survived by his brother Aristides G.
Maniatis and sister Athanasia (Athanasios)
Pezoulas; nephew Nicholas George and niece
Evangelia Sophia Pezoulas; and many aunts,
uncles, cousins, and Godchildren. He leaves
behind a rich legacy of beloved family and
friends.
Trisagion will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 20th
at 7 pm and Funeral Service on Thursday, Jan.
21st at noon at Assumption of the Theotokos
Greek Orthodox Metropolis Cathedral of
Denver, 4610 E. Alameda Ave., Denver, CO.
Burial to follow at Fairmount Cemetery.

Our family would like to thank the many
doctors, nurses, and healthcare teams at
UCHealth who were involved in Sid’s care
these last few years. We are so grateful for
your dedication and kindness. We would also
like to thank everyone for your prayers, love
and support.

Sarantos may be made to the Assumption
Cathedral. Please specify in memo for
