<p>Lennis A. Stokkeland, 65, of Northwood, ND and formerly of Cooperstown, ND, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Northwood Deaconess Health Center in Northwood. Services will be held at a later date.</p> <p>Lennis A. Stokkeland was born February 17, 1955 in Cooperstown, ND to Arnold and Orpha (Sletten) Stokkeland. He grew up and attended school in Cooperstown. After school, Lennis worked in the oil fields before returning to Cooperstown to work at Ritens. He moved to West Fargo, ND where he worked as a welder for Case IH for 17 years.&nbsp; Lennis retired and moved to Northwood. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, the outdoors and spending time with friends. Lennis had a funny personality and infectious smile that will be missed by many.</p> <p>Survivors include his children: Trever (Mika) Stokkeland, Bismarck, ND; Nickole (Jay) Steiner, Elbow Lake, MN; Nikeysha Ryan, Grafton, ND; eight grandchildren; siblings: Arlene Pantzlaff, Carolyn Dekker, Lyle Stokkeland, Sherry Nelson and Cindy Wall.</p> <p>Preceding him in death were his parents and brother, Jerry.</p>
