Joe H. Miller, 91, of 5210 Township Road 123, Millersburg, died Monday, January 18, 2021 at his home. He was born on October 9, 1929 in Holmes County to the late Henry Y. and Anna (Troyer) Miller and married Edna M. Mast on November 10, 1949. She died on September 25, 2019. He was a retired saw mill worker and farmer and a member of the Old Order Amish Church. He is survived by his 7 children, Mervin (Roni) Miller of Strasburg, Eli (Dora) Miller of Millersburg, Levi (Martha) Miller of Sugarcreek, Clara (Eli) Hershberger of Baltic, Joe Jr. (Verna) Miller of Loudonville, Marie (Andy) Miller of Sugarcreek, and Aden (Laura) Miller of the home; 41 grandchildren; 133 great grandchildren; his brother, Melvin H. Miller of Mt. Hope; and 3 sisters, Lizzie (Mel) Miller of Millersburg, Mary (Roy) Miller of Antrim, and Ada (Noah) Raber of Mt. Hope. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brother Levi and 3 sisters, Katie Kuhns, Mattie Stutzman, and Clara Miller. Services will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 9:00 AM at the residence with Bishop Wayne R. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Miller Cemetery in Mechanic Twp., Holmes County. Friends may call anytime at the residence. Arrangements are being handled by Smith-Varns Funeral Home in Sugarcreek.
