<p>Mrs. Carolyn Dalton Stuart, 86, of Winston-Salem, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021. She was born December 13, 1934, in Forsyth County. She was preceded in death by her parents, Laurence and Virginia Dalton, and her loving husband of 46 years Sam Stuart, whom she dearly missed. She loved and is loved by all, especially her brothers Bob Dalton (Katie) and Dick Dalton (Bren); her four children, Pat (Beth), Sharon (Randy), Mary and Amy and was affectionately known as &quot;Gommy&quot; to eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She lived a life of service for her family and friends. We will miss her dearly but forever remember her quick wit, caring kind soul, and love for her family. She&nbsp;was the &quot;Best.&quot; The family will hold a private graveside service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association, Walk to End Alzheimers - Salemtowne Shines Team. The family will be forever grateful to the entire staff at Salemtowne for their loving care over the past five years.&nbsp;</p>

I had great admiration for your mom - She was kind and generous -  Always thinking of others  - She adored her family and was so proud of all her grandchildren  -We had such fun ringing handbells together but also sharing a friendship
