Lowell, Gordon Benjamin died at Mercy Hospital in Creve Coeur of post-stroke complications on January 14, 2021 on the occasion of his 82nd birthday. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 58 years, Hilda Bantle Lowell, and his four children and their spouses: Ann Lowell Telma (Tomasz); Vincent Lowell (Jennifer); John Lowell (Tracey) and Mary Lowell Harocopos (Dr. George). He was a cherished grandfather to 15 grandchildren who will miss him dearly, respected uncle to many nephews and nieces, beloved brother-in-law, cousin, friend and longtime parishioner at St. Clement of Rome. Private burial occurred on Saturday, January 16 at Calvary Cemetery, and a Memorial Mass is to be held in the future at St. Clement.
