Delores Reina was born to Carl Jones and Mae Jones on June 7, 1941 in Brooklyn, New York. Delores graduated from Sara J. Hale High School.

Delores was the youngest child and only daughter of Carl and Mae Jones. She also had two brothers Elliott and Eddie that she loved to roughhouse with.  As a child Delores loved to swim and run track. As an adult she continued to be active and energetic, always ready to dance if a good song was playing. She also loved horror movies.

On August 2, 1959 Delores married John Reina, they went on to have three daughters Kim, Simone, Monik and one son John Jr. Delores was a caring mother and wife who loved her children and husband uncondtionally. She took her responsiblity as a mother seriously, she was the living embodiment  of a Mama Bear.

On January 15, 2021, God called Delores home. She shared her life with her husband John Reina Sr. (the late); her mother and father Carl (the late) and Mae Jones (the late); her brothers Elliot Jones (the late) and Eddie Jones (the late); her daughters Kim Stoney, Monik Jones, Simone Reina (the late); her son John Reina Jr.; her neice Sharon Williams; her grandchildren Nimah Arnold, Reshon Stoney (the late), Tavel Stoney, Jaleel Barnes, Reiner Reina, London Reina, Chance Reina, Dallas Bazemore, Kayla Madyun, Haneef Madyun, Noah Madyun, Aaliyah Madyun, Joshua Canty; great grandchildren Nasia Arnold, Ameerah Arnold, Kalil Arnold; son in laws Randolph Stoney and Jamil Jones; and a host of relatives and friends left behind to cherish her memory.
