Thelma Faye Toups

Thelma "MeMaw" Faye Toups - age 86 passed away Thursday January 14, 2021 in Liberty. Thelma was born in Groveton, Texas May 19, 1934 the daughter of the late Delbert Thornton and Pearl Campbell Thornton. Thelma enjoyed garage sales, the Dallas Cowboys, Wrestling, Elvis Presley and most importantly her family. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in the death by her parents as well as her husband Roy E. Toups, daughter Bessie Faye Goins, sister Robbie Eloise Brooks Lockhart, twin brother Elmer "Leaks" Ray Thornton and brother Carl Louis Brooks. She leaves behind to honor her memory grandson Thomas Hazlett, wife Jennifer Hazlett, granddaughter Tamarah Barber, husband Michael Barber, grandson Kevin Hazlett, wife Meeghan Hazlett, grandson Steven Waller, wife Kaitlyn Waller. Great Grandkids Amanda Hazlett, Ashley Holder spouse, James Ogden, Tiara Hazlett, Brayden Waller, Tyler Hazlett, Ethan Waller, Tanner Hazlett, Preston Waller and Tucker Hazlett. Great Great Grandkids Madisyn Hazlett and Oakley Ogden. Along with numerous nieces and nephews.
