Betty J Daniel

Betty J. Daniel, nee George, age 83, of Collinsville, IL, born April 24, 1937 in Collinsville, IL, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021 at her residence, with her family by her side. After raising her children, Betty went to work for Collinsville Unit 10 School District in the Information Technology Department and worked for over 20 years. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Caseyville, IL, where she was also able to enjoy her passion for music by playing the organ and piano. Betty was a loving grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, along with cooking and quilting. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Flora (nee Perigen) George, a sister, Bonnie George and two granddaughters, JoAnna Nix and Christine Daniel. Surviving are her husband of 64 years, Joe Daniel, Sr., of Collinsville, IL, a son, Joe (Sandra) Daniel, Jr. of Collinsville, IL, a daughter, Linda (Gary) McGill of Mayfield, KY, 2 sisters, Mary (Emil) Schiller and Juanita Wesemann, both of Collinsville, IL, 6 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
