Victoria "Vicky" J. Beson

Victoria Beson Kawkawlin, Michigan Victoria Beson, age 66 of Kawkawlin, passed away on January 17, 2021 at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Vicky was born in Bay City on February 16, 1954 to Rufino & Benita (Garza) Garcia. She grew up in Bay City and graduated from Bay City Central High School in 1972. She attended Delta College. On April 23, 1976 she married Patrick Beson at Visitation Catholic Church. She worked at the People’s National Bank for a short while and she and Pat have worked side by side at Beson’s Supermarket ever since. Vicky enjoyed quilting, crocheting, knitting, flower and vegetable gardening and the occasional trip to the casino. Above all, she loved her family and adored her grandchildren. Vicky is survived by husband Patrick and their children Nita (Chris) Sizick of Salem Twp., Julie (Doug) Stevens of Grand Rapids, Rose (Karl) Kolden of Belle Plaine, MN and Stewart (Casey) Beson of Midland; 9 Grandchildren, Brady & Mason Sizick, Ashley & Adriana Stevens, Ella, William & Joseph Kolden and Delia & John Beson; her siblings, Frank (Blanca) Garcia, David (Sulema) Garcia, Raul (Tammi) Garcia, Maggie (Rudy) Maldonado, Rufus (Sharon) Garcia, Tina (Art) Garcia, Patricia (John) Reminder, Elena Velasquez and friend Chris Daugherty, James Garcia, and Linda Goines, also many nieces, nephews, in laws and friends.. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother James Sayen. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Prince of Peace Parish in Linwood. (315 W Center St. Linwood, MI) Due to COVID-19 restrictions, mass will be private. Those wishing to view the mass via Zoom may go to the www.RamsayGroupfs.com on Thursday morning and view the service. Visitation will be 1 to 7pm on Wednesday at Rivertown Funeral Home Kawkawlin MASKS ARE REQUIRED. Interment will be in Heavenly Rest Cemetery in Kawkawlin.
