<p>Eleanor Odessa Porter Granger, 89, of Columbus, GA passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021.</p> <p>Funeral services will be held at 11AM Monday, January 18, 2021 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends Monday from 10:00-11:00 AM at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.&nbsp; Interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery following the service. In keeping with the efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19, face coverings and social distancing will be required during the funeral service, visitation and interment.</p> <p>Eleanor was born April 17, 1932 in Columbus, GA to the late John Elmer Porter and Bessie Mae Taylor Porter. She worked for Muscogee County School District as a Crossing Guard and as a florist. She has always been a devoted Christian and was a member of Northside Baptist Church.</p> <p>Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years Amon Lamar Granger, brothers, Clifford Porter, Paul Porter, granddaughter, Ellie Brooke Jenkins.</p> <p>Survivors include her daughters, Linda Granger Garnto of Columbus, GA, Wanda Grange Price (Dennis) of Guyton,GA, son, Keith Granger (Cheryl) of Fortson,GA, sisters, Margaret Wilene Freed of Columbus, GA, Lavonda Lantz of Columbus, GA, 5 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 12 great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.</p> <p>In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Columbus Hospice 7020 Moon Road, Columbus, GA. 31909</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>

Eleanor Odessa Porter Granger, 89, of Columbus, GA passed away on Friday, January 15, 2021.
