Carolyn S. Readinger

<p>Carolyn S. Readinger, formerly of Wyomissing Hills and residing in Country Meadows Retirement Community for the past year, passed away there on Saturday January 16th, 2021 having just turned 93 in December. She was born Schuylkill Haven, Pa. the daughter of Harry W and Ina K Sweigert. She is pre deceased by her husand Calvin L Readinger son of Raymond and Florence Golden in March of 2016 and her sister Renee J. McCalla in July of 2013. She retired from the Dept of Defense, in Reading in 1989. Prior to that she worked in the library of RACC which she enjoyed very much. Carolyn was an avid reader, enjoyed making her own clothes, traveling to Europe and going to flea markets. Carolyn is survived by her eldest son Christopher husband of Connie, Fleetwood, Pa, and her youngest son David husband of Zenja of Sun City, Az., also two grandchildren and two twin great grandchildren. We would like to thank her caregivers at Country Meadows, Pam Pietrowski, Katlyn Forman and Adriana Hurd among others for making her stay there so pleasant.
