Holmes, 81, passed away at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune on January 16, 2021.<br /> He was born in Forrest City, AR to the late Booker and Eliselee (Hicks) Holmes. He had previously lived in California and Tennessee before moving to Red Bank 21 years ago.<br /> He worked as a crane operator for Lockheed Corp. in Burbank, CA for 23 years. Leonard and his wife owned and operated Holmes Cleaning Service in Red Bank for 20 years.<br /> He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Janenne (Wilson) Holmes; his daughters and son in law: Tisha and Mark Withers of CA and Michelle Holmes of Eatontown; his siblings: Melvin Woffard of TN and Johnnie Schneider of IL and his grandson, Myles Lida.<br /> A wake will be held on Saturday January 23, 2021 from 9AM-12PM at the John E.
