Casey Nelson Hundstad was born June 10, 1999, to Kevin and Candi (King) Hundstad in Huron, SD. Casey was named after his great-grandfather Nelson Hundstad. Candi and Casey moved to Aberdeen when he was three. Casey attended O.M. Tiffany, Holgate Middle School, and graduated from Central High School in 2018. While in high school, he worked at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in the pre-school and did grounds work. He also played football and hockey. Casey loved the children he worked with and always had stories to tell about them. He asked for Christmas gifts that he could use with the kids. Casey enjoyed fishing with his father, uncle Brian and his family. He was an avid Aberdeen Wings hockey fan and would drive up from Watertown to see them play. Casey liked to play video games. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Casey will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
