Marilyn J. Kelley

Marilyn J. Kelley passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at her home in Wellington, Kansas at the age of 73. She was born the daughter of Edmond M. and Flossie A. (Byrd) Dust on March 10, 1947 in Winfield, Kansas. She graduated from Winfield High School. On January 1, 1967, she and James Kelley, Jr. were united in marriage in Winfield, Kansas. Together they celebrated over 30 years of marriage before his passing. Marilyn was employed for many years as a house keeper at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Wellington, Kansas. In her free time, she enjoyed reading her Bible, Heather Graham novels and spending time hunting for treasures at garage sales and thrift shops. Survivors include her sister, Delores Harris and her husband Donnie of Wellington, Kansas, 2 nephews, 3 nieces and numerous great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother, Ronald Dust. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, January 17, 2021. Following her visitation, cremation will take place and a private interment will be held at a later time. A memorial fund has been established in her name with the Wellington Free Will Baptist Church. Contributions will be used to assist with the children's ministries.
