Luena Layador
Luena Layador, age 77, passed away peacefully at her home on January 14, 2021. She was born on February 12, 1943 in Iloilo, Philippines. Luena graduated from the University of Iloilo with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. She retired from the Philippine National Police after almost 30 years and migrated to the United States with her family. She also had been part of the Walmart family for 18 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Deogracias and Consolacion; and her husband Bede Benedicto Layador. Luena is survived by her children, Ivy, Jett and Irish; and her siblings Wilhelm, Rhodora, Efren, Jocelyn, Leilani, Suzette, Jerry, Jun and Loredee. She will always be forever remembered as a strong and brave person who fought cancer for 11 years. As a loving mother to her children, a caring sister to her siblings, a kind and loyal friend, a very thoughtful daughter to her parents, and a devoted wife to her husband.Obituary
