Betty W Tomlinson

Betty Winnell Tomlinson was born in Heard County, Georgia on October 30, 1930 to Susie Parrie Brazell and Carl Elvridge Brazell Sr. Betty was the second born of three children, David Harold Brazell and Carl Elvridge Brazell Jr. Betty genuinely cared for people. She spent her early adult years as a nursing aid and retired caring for children at KinderCare. Betty loved writing poetry and several of her poems were published, she once won an award for her writings. Betty also enjoyed cooking, sewing, traveling and taking peaceful walks. She never met a stranger and was known for her warm personality. Betty will truly be missed. Betty is preceded in death by her mother and father Carl and Susie Brazell and her son Charles Elvridge Tomlinson. Betty leaves to cherish her memories a daughter Patti Lapio, a son Gary Tomlinson (Rhonda), her grandchildren, Elizabeth Sharon Feilen(John), Ashley Tomlinson, Alec Tomlinson, Danielle Tomlinson, Lindsey Tomlinson, Rebecca Tomlinson and a host of relatives and friends. Services were held in Georgia with Southern Cremation & Funerals.
