<p>Rev. Colin Patrick &ldquo;Pat&rdquo; Inman, age 75 of Sunset Beach, finished his earthly journey on Friday, January 15, 2021 at the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center in Bolivia, following a courageous battle with cancer. &nbsp;</p> <p>Pat, as he was affectionately known, was born in Robeson County on September 8, 1945 to the late Joseph Raymond Inman and Amelia Thompson Inman. He was preceded in death his siblings, Dick Inman, Bill Inman, William Inman, Roger Inman, Johnny Inman, Bobby&nbsp;Inman and Martha Edna Smith.</p> <p>A memorial service will be held at 1:00&nbsp;pm Saturday, January 23, 2021 at the Rowland Cemetery (Cemetery Road) in Rowland with Pastor Phil Norris officiating.</p> <p>Pat was a faithful soldier in the army of the Lord, always ready and willing to share the gospel with others. He was a Methodist minister, recently serving as the Pastor at&nbsp;Chadbourn United Methodist Church and Evergreen United Methodist Church; Pat also hosted&nbsp;an outreach ministry at the BCRC and Beach House Recovery in Calabash.&nbsp;Pat was a graduate of Duke Divinity School and the owner of Silver Fox Lawn Care. He also worked with Bechtel Corporation in Construction and served in the United States Navy for 10 years, in the submarine fleet.&nbsp;</p> <p>Survivors include his beloved wife, Gwen Mavis Stone of the home; children, Jennifer Danford (David) of Ocean Isle Beach, Ross P. Inman (Nelson) of Raleigh, Joseph R. Inman (Karen) of Columbia, SC; sisters, Betty I. Floyd of Fairmont, Anna Margaret Inman of Arizona, Pauline Inman Hudson of Greenville; grandchildren, M. Wayne Ferster and Ellery Quinn Inman.</p>
