Cumberland, MD – Timothy “Tim” Carlton Aaron, 73, of Cumberland, MD, peacefully passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021, at his home surrounded by his loving wife of 27 years.  Born October 12, 1947, in Cumberland, MD, Mr. Aaron was the son of the late Harry Carlton Aaron and Marianne (Tole) Aaron, and was the last surviving member of his immediate family.  Tim was a United States Naval Veteran during the Vietnam Era having served onboard the USS Essex from 1968-1970.  He earned in Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees, Cum Laude, from Frostburg States University and retired from the Allegany County Public School System in 2002 after 30 years of service.  Tim also worked over a span of 20 years at various radio stations including WCUM, WTBO, WHAG, WUOK, and WCBC.  Besides his wife, Patricia A. (Corbett) Aaron, Tim is survived by his son: Jefferson “Brad” Aaron; and his beloved cats: Harry and Watson.  He looks forward to being united with his deceased cats: Teddy and Thomas.  Thomas will be laid to rest with him.  Interment will be in the Maryland Veterans Cemetery at Rocky Gap at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Allegany County Animal Shelter, Post Office Box #566, Cumberland, MD 21502; or that a kindness be extended to someone.
