We are thrilled to be able to offer Masses in church once again and welcome those who come. Please share these with your family and friends: ∙ Upon entering the church, all must wear a face mask and use the hand sanitizer located on the table just inside the doors. ∙ The Bereavement Minister will be there to greet you and seat all guests in the church immediately upon entering the church. (If you wish to visit or greet your guests, please do so outside before coming into the church.) ∙ We can accommodate 100 guests in the church at this time due to social distancing requirements. ∙ Pall Bearers should wait by the hearse to assist the funeral directors with the casket. Once the casket is inside the church Narthex, the Pall Bearers should also be seated immediately. ∙ Seating inside the church is designed so that individuals and families can social distance. Pews with blue tape on the back of the seat are the only ones to be used. The Bereavement Ministers will assist in seating, so please follow their instructions. The pews in the center sections will be used first and seating will begin in the front of the church and fill up the pews in order. The first pew will be reserved for the immediate family. Other family members and friends will be seated as they arrive. ∙ The priest will bring Holy Communion to everyone as they remain in their pew so remain kneeling or sitting and wait for the priest to come to you. A Bereavement Minister will walk ahead of the priest to spritz the hands of those wishing to receive Holy Communion with an alcohol based hand sanitizer. ∙ We encourage families who would like to offer a Eulogy to do so at the wake, at the cemetery, or at the funeral luncheon and not in church. ∙ At the end of Mass, the Bereavement Ministers will direct those in the pews to exit, row by row, beginning with the last pew and finishing with the first pew. All are asked to exit the church immediately. Again, if you wish to visit, you may do so outside. We thank you for your patience and understanding with these guidelines. We hope and pray for the welfare of you and your guests. God bless you.
