Our beloved daughter, granddaughter, niece and sister Ciara Estrella Medina Barrera went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 11, 2015. Age 10 years. She was born September 4, 2005 in Saginaw, Michigan to Sarina Barrera and Jonathan Medina. Ciara was a 5th grade student at Saginaw Preparatory Academy who loved to dance. She also enjoyed watching her favorite shows on the Disney Channel while eating snacks. Ciara enjoyed spending time with her siblings, Nana and Papa. Ciaras middle name Estrella means star in English. Her Nana always told her that was why she was given that name. Ciara will always be our bright, shining star and her beautiful presence will be truly missed. She leaves to cherish her precious memory her parents, Sarina Barrera and Johnathan Medina; step-father, Robert McLaren; grandparents, Josephine Barrera, Torey Harris, Lorenzo and Martha Medina; great-grandparents, Jesse and Alice Hernandez; brother, Robert McLaren Jr.; sister, Rihanne McLaren; aunts, Candace and Roxanne Agee, Laura and Kimberly Medina; uncles, Gregory Agee, Jr., and David Medina; many other relatives and friends who loved her very much.
