It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late Victor Musseau announces his passing on Thursday, January 14, 2021, at Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Centre at the age of 62 with his loving family by his side. Born in Port aux Basques, Victor was the son of Edward Steward Musseau and the late Mary (nee Durnford) Musseau. Victor leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his wife of 42 years Jackie Musseau (nee Scott), children, Jonathan (Kayla) Musseau, Eastern Passage, Vickie Musseau (Shane O’Brien) Labrador City, and his granddaughter Georgia Grace, the shining star throughout his dark fight with cancer. Poppy will always love you. He also leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, his twin brother, Ed (Donna) Musseau, Gander, Perry Musseau, Moncton NB, sisters, Beth Ann (Wade) Hatch of Oromocto, and Jackie (Gary) Thomas of Fredericton, mother-in-law Francis Scott, brothers–and sisters-in-law, Sidney (Thannia) Scott, Aneitha (Clayton) Francis, Jim (June)Scott, Ann (Richard) Bateman, Don (Olga) Scott, Junior (Mary) Scott, all of Isle aux Morts, Joan Sutton, Gander, Harriett Warren, Burgeo, Paul (Cecelia) Scott, Fall River, Rick (Valda) Scott, Greenwood, NS, Beryl (Kevin) Scott-Dominix, Bedford, NS and Jamie Scott, Port aux Basques. Victor was predeceased by his mother, Violet Mary, father-in-law, George Scott, sister-in-law, Pat Dicks, and brothers-in-law, Junior Sutton and Perry Warren. Victor will be remembered for his love of music, a great game of darts and his hard work ethic no matter the task or who ever needed a helping hand. He sacrificed so much to provide his family every opportunity to succeed. In keeping with Victor’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will be receiving family and friends on Sunday, January 17th from 2:00-4:00 pm and 7:00-9:00 pm. at Oceanside Funeral Home, 23 Read Street. The funeral service will be on Monday, January 18th at 2:00 p.m., St. James Anglican Church officiated by, Rev. Jane Allen. In keeping with Covid-19 regulations, the funeral service will be by invitation only. Interment to follow at a later date.
