Garry D. Still

Mr. Garry D. Still, Jr., age 76, of Pineville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 in Alexandria, Louisiana at Christus St. Frances Cabrini Hospital due to complications of COVID. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana. Graveside Services will be held on Monday, January 18, 2021 at 10:00 AM in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Garry was born August 21, 1944 in Oklahoma City, OK. He was a Veteran of the Army National Guard and he was very proud of his Cherokee heritage and celebration of native festivities. Garry enjoyed attending parades, car shows, and his grandchildren's sporting and social events. He was a proud fan of LSU and the New Orleans Saints. Some of his fondest memories were being out on the lake fishing with his son and being a protector of his daughters. Garry will be remembered for his love of socializing and catching up with old friends. He never met a stranger and loved everyone. He was preceded in death by his parents, Garry Still, Sr. and Rose Still Duhon. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Coleen Still; children, Tara Morris (Kyle), Anthony Still (Nichole), and Diane O'Neal (Will); grandchildren, Gunnar Morris, Alyssa Johnson (Robert), Mikayla O'Neal, Aleeza Still, Brittney Morris, William O'Neal, Walker O'Neal, Bailey Still; and one soon to be great grandchild. I loved all the times I got to talk and visit with him. Especially car rides, we'd talk all the way to the next stop. I know our little bambino will have an angel looking over.. I love and miss you Pawpaw Gary.
