Graveside services were held on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at 1:00 PM from the Oak Grove Baptist Church Lawn, Milledgeville, Georgia. Internment will follow in the Georgia Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Milledgeville, Georgia.

She is survived by her loving husband of 19 years: Mr. George Edwards, Milledgeville, Georgia: daughter, Ms. Sara Johnson, Milledgeville, Georgia; two sons: Mr. Eric Jacore Jordan, Milledgeville, Georgia, Mr. Tyler Shimon Edwards, Atlanta, George: mother, Sarah F. Dixon, Sandersville, Georgia: brother: Mr. Dondi A (Susan) Dixon, San Antonio, Texas, mother-in-law, Mrs. Mamie Edwards: two brother-in-law's, M r. To m m i e (J o A n n ) E d w a r d s, Milledgeville, Georgia; Mr. Alvin (Vivian) Edwards, Savannah, Georgia, special granddaughter, Alonna Hall, Milledgeville, Georgia, very special cousin to Mrs. Benita Wright, Conyers, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and a host of devoted friends; Thiaja Dean, Diane Andrews, Shirley Johnson, and the late Helen Fitzpatrick, and Alma James.
