Irma was born in Pittsburgh on February 1, 1926, the daughter of the late William and Beatrice (DeBor) Jane. Beloved wife of the late Robert Johnston. Loving mother of Susan (David) Sabin, Judith (Ronald) Layton and Robert (Melanie) Johnston. Loving grandmother of Ryan, Dana (Larisa), Laura (Jaclyn), Jody (Shawn), Nan (Bryan), Dustin (Melissa), Lee (Erin), Katie (Kyle), Brian (Emily) and Emily (Adam). Special great grandmother of Sawyer, Ephraim, Weylan, Jaxson, Celia, Memphis, Westin, Bentley and Oliver. Preceded in death by her sisters Caroline Vetter, Winifred Simms and Ethelreda Feist. Irma was the former lunch supervisor at Mifflin School. She was a member of the Lincoln Place Presbyterian Lunch Group, Lincoln Place Women's Club and in her younger years she was active in the PTA at Mifflin School. The family would like to thank the staff at Lutheran Senior Care Abundant Life Center in Zelienople for the exceptional care that was given to Irma. Memorial donations may be made in her honor to the charity of your choice.
