<p>Charles Edward Tandy III was born in Freer, Tx on Feb 3 1948 to Charles Edward II and Freda Tandy. He graduated from Carroll High in Corpus Christi, Tx in 1966, and began achieving his American dream.<br /> <br /> A hard working-no nonsense man, he went straight to work. Charlie built a good career, mainly working on gas pumps and related equipment. Long hours and learning constantly changing systems were a norm.<br /> Charlie also enjoyed hunting, and after retirement, he was an expert ham radio operator.<br /> <br /> Charlie married his beautiful wife Jan on March 26, 1988. They&rsquo;ve had many wonderful years together. They often went camping and western dancing. Together they raised two girls; Kelly and Kim. He is also survived by daughter Teri, brother Mark, and sister Amy, as well as three grandchildren, Savannah, Samantha, and Levi.<br /> <br /> Charlie had an accident and sustained a serious and disabling injury in 2011. Like a true champion though, he fought back and regained some normalcy. He fought for 10 years, with the tireless support of his ever faithful wife. Once he felt everyone was at a point they could carry on without his supervision, Charlie relaxed, and went to rest. It was Jan 11, 2021. We love you and will miss you Charlie.</p>

Charles Edward Tandy III was born in Freer, Tx on Feb 3 1948 to Charles Edward II and Freda Tandy. He graduated from Carroll High in Corpus Christi, Tx in 1966, and began achieving his American dream.

A hard working-no nonsense man, he went straight to work. Charlie built a good career, mainly working on gas pumps and related equipment. Long hours and learning constantly changing systems were a norm.

Charlie married his beautiful wife Jan on March 26, 1988. They’ve had many wonderful years together. They often went camping and western dancing. Together they raised two girls; Kelly and Kim.
