Martha Marie Bunch, 92, of Union, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at her son’s home in Elkhart.

Martha was born on November 22, 1928 in Lakeville, IN to the late, Rolla R. and Elva N. (Summers) Clark. She was married to the late, James Richard Bunch on December 5, 1947 in North Liberty, IN. He passed away on July 10, 1987. Martha is preceded in death by her husband, Richard and her siblings.

Martha graduated from Lakeville High School. Martha was a member of the Elkhart Moose Lodge 599, snowmobile club and Pine Creek Church of the Brethren. She loved to travel to Hawaii and Europe. Martha loved being out in the water especially at her lake house.  She was spunky, outgoing and loved to laugh. Most of all, she loved her family and partying with her friends.

Martha is survived by her children, Jimmy Don Bunch of West Lafayette, IN, Kent Dale (Brenda) Bunch of Elkhart, and Mary Jane Wittenberg of Medford, OR; 5 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.  

There will be no services or visitation. A private burial will take place at Southlawn Cemetery in South Bend.
