Virginia Cooper
Jenny Cooper, age 81, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021. Born and raised in San Antonio, she was a 1957 graduate of Jefferson High School. She married Bill Cooper in April 1963 and throughout his military career, were stationed around the world. After his retirement, they returned to San Antonio. Jenny was a proud military wife. She was preceded in death by her husband, LTC William H. Cooper III; parents, Sam and Carolyn Granberry; and brothers, Fred Granberry and Richard Granberry. Jenny is survived by her daughter, Carrie Hughes; son, William H. Cooper IV and wife Beth; daughter, Kate Cooper; granddaughter, Ashley Longoria and husband Manuel; grandson, Brendan Cooper; great-grandchildren, twins Logan and Elora Longoria; siblings, Sam Granberry and wife Shirley, Robert Granberry, Sandra McCall and husband Paul, Judy Johnson, Kathryn Helm and husband, Jimmy; as well as numerous extended family members. A private memorial service will be held at a later date once it is safe to congregate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the San Antonio Food Bank.Obituary
