In the early hours of Christmas morning, December 25, 2020, Samuel Henry “Buddy” Boucher passed away at the age of 29.
Sam was born on March 10, 1991 at Ft. Benning, Georgia to Dennis and Diane (Dumcius) Boucher. A graduate of Robinson Secondary School, he also received his Bachelors in Media, Culture, and the Arts from The King’s College in New York City in 2013.
Sam had a passion for adventure turning any experience into an event. He spent time working in Germany, traveling through Europe and Russia eventually settling in the Pacific Northwest. He had a fierce love of animals, prolific movie quote knowledge, and held music and poetry close to his heart. To know Sam was to be charmed by his quick wit, compassionate soul, and amazing laugh.
He is survived by his parents Dennis and Diane (Dumcius) Boucher, sister Colleen Boucher (husband James Bright), brother Patrick Boucher (wife Elizabeth Boucher) sister Chelsea (Boucher) Merchant (husband Canaan Merchant), and 7 nephews and nieces.
Due to Covid precautions a private service will be held at Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home with a plan to have a memorial service later in 2021 for family and friends.
