Margaret L. Meadus RN

Margaret Louise Meadus RN (nee Hutchings) – Passed peacefully away after a brief illness at the Health Science Centre, St. John’s on Wednesday, January 13, 2021. Predeceased by her parents Solomon and Belinda Hutchings; parents-in-law Valetta and George Meadus; brother-in-law David Meadus. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 55 years Reginald Meadus; sons Barry (Sonia), Glen (Jennifer); grandchildren Mitchell, Megan, Cameron and Nicholas; sisters Mildred (Jack-deceased), Louise (Wilfred-deceased), Joan (Melvin), Debbie (Ted), Rhoda (Peter); brothers Jack (Ethel-deceased), Joe (Cammy-deceased) and Solomon; brothers-in-law Ralph (Judy), Gary (Judy); sister-in-law Lorraine (Wayne); and a large circle of extended family and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue with visitations on Friday, January 15th from 12pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm. Funeral service to be held from Barrett’s Memorial Chapel on Saturday, January 16th at 11am. Inurnment to follow at St. John the Evangelist Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Margaret’s memory may be made to the Janeway.
