Margaret Louise Meadus RN (nee Hutchings) – Passed peacefully away after a brief illness at the Health Science Centre, St. John’s on Wednesday, January 13, 2021. Predeceased by her parents Solomon and Belinda Hutchings; parents-in-law Valetta and George Meadus; brother-in-law David Meadus. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 55 years Reginald Meadus; sons Barry (Sonia), Glen (Jennifer); grandchildren Mitchell, Megan, Cameron and Nicholas; sisters Mildred (Jack-deceased), Louise (Wilfred-deceased), Joan (Melvin), Debbie (Ted), Rhoda (Peter); brothers Jack (Ethel-deceased), Joe (Cammy-deceased) and Solomon; brothers-in-law Ralph (Judy), Gary (Judy); sister-in-law Lorraine (Wayne); and a large circle of extended family and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue with visitations on Friday, January 15th from 12pm-4pm and 7pm-9pm. Funeral service to be held from Barrett’s Memorial Chapel on Saturday, January 16th at 11am. Inurnment to follow at St. John the Evangelist Cemetery.
