Audrey Marie Herzog, 93, a longtime resident of Barrington, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2021.  She was born February 2, 1927 in Chicago, the daughter of the late Mathias J. and Laura (nee Schaid) Weibler.  She was united in marriage to Robert S. Herzog on February 18, 1950.  They celebrated 65 beautiful years together until his passing in 2015.

A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend, Audrey is survived by her children, Mark (Nancy) Herzog, Laura (Marty Minney) Herzog, Carl (Cyndee) Herzog, Therese (Wes) Gustafson, Lisa (Scott) Hennin, Julie (Pete) Stearney; her grandchildren, Kevin (Ana Reyes) Herzog, Mike (Mariel) Herzog, Katy (Tanner Frese) Herzog, Jessica Herzog Schultz, Ali Herzog, William Herzog, Elyse (Patti McElroy) Gustafson, Stephanie (Don) Amfahr, Taylor (Drew) Ballard, Natalie Hennin, Morgan Hennin, Rae Stearney, and Ethan Stearney; her great-grandchildren, London, Sophia, Audrey, Mark, John, Anthony, Aidan, Mia, Liam, and Theodore; and her many loving nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Herzog; brother Russell Weibler; infant son Michael; and great-grandson, Enzo.
